Position Summary
Suvarna Chiropractic Inc. is seeking a professional, dependable, and patient-focused
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our chiropractic and wellness practice for an
immediate start .
The ideal candidate is passionate about therapeutic massage and helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, recover from injuries, manage muscle tension, and improve their overall wellness. You will work alongside our chiropractic and wellness team in a professional healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to patients.
- Assess each patient's needs and customize treatment accordingly.
- Work with chiropractic patients as part of their overall treatment and wellness plans.
- Communicate professionally with patients regarding treatment goals and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, comfortable, and professional treatment room.
- Follow all sanitation, infection-control, HIPAA, and professional standards.
- Educate patients regarding the benefits of massage therapy and appropriate treatment frequency.
- Encourage appropriate follow-up appointments and continuity of care.
- Work collaboratively with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide an excellent patient experience from beginning to end.
Massage Modalities
Experience in several of the following is preferred:
- Swedish Massage
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Sports Massage
- Therapeutic/Medical Massage
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Myofascial Techniques
- Lymphatic Massage
- Cupping
- Gua Sha
- Hot Stones
- Essential Oils
- Prenatal Massage
Candidates do not need to be experienced in every modality.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Massage Therapy License required.
- Massage therapy education from an accredited program.
- Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and patient-focused.
- Comfortable working in a chiropractic/healthcare environment.
- Prior chiropractic, medical, rehabilitation, or wellness experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
We are looking for candidates who can
start immediately .
Weekday, evening, and/or weekend shifts are be available. Candidates with flexible availability are encouraged to apply.
Growth Opportunity
Our goal is to build the position toward a consistent schedule of approximately
20–25 massage sessions per week based on patient demand and therapist availability.
The successful candidate should be interested in developing long-term relationships with patients, encouraging appropriate follow-up care, and growing with the practice.
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, availability, and employment arrangement. Specific compensation and scheduling details will be discussed during the interview.
