**This position is for 16 and 17 year olds** Department: Out of School Time Job Status: Part Time Reports to: Site Coordinator Supervises: None Schedule: Monday-Friday, afternoons/evenings POSITION SUMMARY As an Assistant Youth Development Professional in our elementary out-of-school time programs, you’ll be a: Safety Star: Keep students safe through active supervision Playtime Pal : Playtime is serious business! You’ll play games, read fun books, and have a blast with the kids. Homework Helper : Imagine being a superhero for homework! You’ll help students with their schoolwork, like solving math problems, reading cool stories and helping with art or science experiments Tidy Wizard : Like magic, you’ll clean and organize stuff! PHYSICAL DEMANDS A. Ability to Stand, Walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak and bend on a daily basis B.
